Dependencies & dpkg Fix E: Broken Packages on nitoTV

I have started to see alot of you, having problem installing XBMC from nitoTV and having errors  such as

org.xbmc..xbmc-atv2:Depends:or­g.xbmc.xbmc-seatbeltunlock but not going to be installed

E:Broken Packages

Don’t Worry I have a Guide that should help out…

Follow these steps

1. To start You need to use your Remote Control

2. Select nitoTV

3.  Select Install Software

4.  Scroll Down and Select XBMC-ATV2

5. Scroll to More and Select it

6. First Select fix Dependencies

7. Scroll to More and Select it

8. Then Select dpkg configure

9. Click on Install

10. You should see this screen while installation

11. It will Restart it self

12. The Screen will go black, which means it will LowTide Restart Once its going back to main screen You’ll see the XBMC icon, Select to make sure you can launch it

13. and you’ll get this screen Select XBMC to open

14. the Start Screen Should show up

15. and Your going to be in main screen

 

Now Enjoy your XBMC and add your Plugins  and more….

  1. i did this and the xbmc logo still doesnt appear in the menu. HELP please

    • if still not showing, then i have to let you know, that you need to uninstall XBMC, by going to nitoTV and click on XBMC when it comes up, click on uninstall if its not highlighted then you need to delete the Dependencies by clicking here this video should help you out, and onces its done then install the XBMC again from nitoTV and your up and running.
