The New 4.4.2 tethered Jailbreak ( With Indicator ) for Apple TV 2 is out, and thanks to Seas0nPass, they are again the lead to Jailbreak, and brought us with detail on what is compatible and what’s not, Remember that after this jailbreak is done, if you have aTV Flash (Black) RC1 you can install without problems, and use there media player for your videos, but if you want to get XBMC you have to follow the Ssh Process on link bellow… only nightly Built working for mean time,
here are things you need to process this Jailbreak
1. Apple TV 2
2. MicroUSB = $5 to $10
3. Computer Windows XP or higher or MAC OSX 10.6 or higher
4. iTunes 10.5.X

Hey what’s up. Amazing videos and how-tos. Here’s my issue. I have successfully jailbroken my atv2g with the tethered 4.4.2 season pass from your site. No problem. However after installing nitotv, groovy, xbmc, loudspeak… None of the apps open. None. I’m on the nightly build for xbmc. Doesn’t open. I have restored and jailbroken it several times. Still nothing. most the people making same mistake, after ssh nitoTV and ssh XBMC nightly Built you need to tether boot and not re-install iPSW to your AppleTV,
