Jailbreak Apple TV 2G using Seas0nPass<\/p>\n<p>2. After jailbreak, connect your Apple TV 2G to your Mac OS X and SSH into it using the Terminal app. or Ubuntu and now Windows via PuTTY<\/p>\n<p>3. Use root@ip-address as username and \u2018alpine\u2019 as password. You can find out your device\u2019s IP address from Settings \u2013&gt; WiFi \u2013&gt; \u2018Name of your Network\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>We recommend you to change your password immediately using the \u2018passwd\u2019 command. Type passwd \u2018new password\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>4. Add the source repository for NitoTV. Type this one after the other:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>echo \u201cdeb http:\/\/apt.awkwardtv.org .\/\u201d &gt; \/etc\/apt\/sources.list.d\/awkwardtv.list<\/p>\n<p>apt-get update<\/p>\n<p>apt-get install com.nito.nitoTV<\/p>\n<p>killall Lowtide<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>5. Restart your Apple TV 2G.<\/p>\n<p>So there you go!
