I have two things i wanted to ask you …
1) is there a reason why you seem to prefer XBMC over Plex?
2) I jail broke my apple TV about 1,5 weeks ago and then got aTV Flash (black). I managed to get some aspects of it working great (like Firecore’s Media player) but others are not working at all. e.g. If i go to iTunes “Movies” and try to browse genres the screen just goes black and then kicks me out to the main menu. Also, if I try to use the Weather app on main screen it just shows me a black screen and that’s it. What do you recommend i can do to try and fix the problem?
hi thank you for comment, and answering your questions,
1. Plex is a lighter version of XBMC, same parent though, plex runs on XBMC but your MAC laptop or desktop always have to run Plex Server in order to get full access to your videos and XBMC you can just share a drive or folder with movies and you get it anywhere in same network with XBMC
2. aTV flash (Black) only gives you access to media player, that firecore created if your going to AppleTV 2 Movies and want to watch movies that is not free, you need to make account with itunes and go through them just to let you know.. and if you have problem with aTV Flash ( Black ) message them on firecore.com under support and i am sure you’ll be supported… since they sell there product and i support the sale version
