Not that there’s any reason you’d want to, but we figured that it would be a good idea to explain to our visitors how you can revert the changes made using the XBMC HUB Wizard so that you can return to whatever you had configured prior to running the new wizard software. It’s not too complicated, but not as simple as running the wizard either. If you really want to revert back, we’re going to explain how to do it. This guide is designed for experienced users however, so beginners might not want to try this.
HOW TO UNINSTALL THE XBMC HUB WIZARD FROM YOUR APPLETV
(for advanced users only!)
1: You’ll want to connect to your device by FTP client. The hostname should be your device’s IP Address, while the username is “root” and password is “alpine” both without quotations.
2: Navigate to the “/private/var/mobile/Library/Preferences/” folder and Delete the “XBMC” folder.
3: Rename the “XBMC.old” folder to the plain “XBMC” name, without quotations of course.
4: Reboot your device to finalize the changes.
Congratulations! You’re a little bit mad for wanting to remove the XBMC HUB Wizard configuration, but hey, to each his own. Now at least you know how to do it.
